My Story

Today it's only fitting that the first Veggie Single Mingle event since losing my Daddy, is an event which is in alignment with Veggie Single Mingle principles:

• Coming together to connect with VSM'ers (you never know who you'll meet)
• Giving back to great institution in the community
• Having Fun
• Getting your steps in!

Collectively we are fundraising for St Luke's Hospice. St Luke's Hospice cares for people approaching the end of their life in Harrow and Brent. They aim to give the people they care for the best possible quality of life, each and every day. Supporting local people and their families is at the heart of what they do. 

St Luke's Hospice provided the most loving and supportive care for my dearest Daddy between May 2023 - June 2023 and continue to support us, which we are forever grateful for. 

• £100 could enable a St Luke’s nurse to give 4 hours of specialist care in our Inpatient Unit. 
• £56 could enable a health care assistant to provide practical and compassionate support in a person’s home. 
• £22 could provide people with an hour of practical support from St Luke’s 24/7 helpline.
